Waking up in Newport this morning, we came upon a bit of fog. Prior to leaving this quaint community, we took some time to enjoy the cliff walk among some of the most spectacular mansions I have ever seen.
We also stopped at Cardines Field, this Cape Cod League field has been in continuous operation since 1893, making it the oldest continuous use field in baseball.
Having been misted on and still experiencing fog, we made way for NYC to meet Jacob.
This evening was made complete with the Cubs late inning victory over the Mets.
Tomorrow we will venture into Manhattan for the afternoon and, weather permitting, back to the park for a second evening. More on that later.
