First, we were looking forward to the opportunity to visit the third in the family of Busch Stadiums. It was very nice, with a great view of downtown.
Second, this is another two game stop given that the match-up is the best rivalry in baseball, Cardinals v. Cubs (yes, even better than the Yankees v. Red Sox or the Giants v. Dodgers).
Finally, we were also excited to share this outing with Beth's sister Lynne and her husband Mark. They too will be celebrating their 30th later this summer and joined us in St. Louis for the Friday night game. (Note: We will be joining them again on Sunday for the game in Kansas City, their home town.)
While warm, it was a perfect day with a perfect end!
Looking forward to the second outing on Saturday.
