Land of Enchantment

Our first day included 380 miles of driving through the mountains of eastern Arizona (State #1) and the beautiful wilds of New Mexico (State #2).

We visited Silver City and wandered into the City of Rocks.

Jutting out of the desert floor was this "city" of large rocks. They were actually very impressive, surprising and very fun to climb about.

Following dinner at Si Señor, we overnighted in Las Cruces. A great first day. We are off to Lubbock, Texas tomorrow as we wander our way toward Houston for our first stadium visit/game on Tuesday (5.21).
