Hail Texas

We arrived in Texas (State #3) on Day 2 settling in to visit our long-time friends, Mark and Pam.

Along our travels we captured a beautiful picture of the area by Cloudcroft, NM, including a glimpse of white sand, from the White Sands Missile Range  in the distance.

During a delicious dinner at Mark and Pam's beautiful home, we were treated to a true Texas Panhandle Hail Storm, with rain and big chunks of ice.

Another 320 miles under our belt, it was a good Day 2. Just a couple more days until we arrive in Houston and then the games begin in earnest.
