30 For 30 - Lowery Style

Today is the day. The celebration begins! We are dubbing this "30 for 30", a grand adventure to visit all thirty of the MLB ballparks, to witness a game, in celebration of our 30 years of marriage. We invite you to come along with us for the journey.

We plan to travel via our "baby car" (more on that in a coming post) approximately 20,000 miles, visiting all corners of our nation (with a jaunt to Canada ... Toronto). As dictated by the regular season schedule, the route will be a bit circuitous.

We will undoubtedly encounter some unexpected challenges along the way. As a result, we have planned time to be able to adjust (hence the 12 weeks), along with a bit more to see some sights and visit with friends and family along the way.

Our first stop is Houston to see Minute Maid park and watch the World Champion (2017) Astros. We expect it will take a few days, with some awesome side trips along the way. Time to hit the road. Grab some breakfast at TC Eggington's on the way out of town and make our way to New Mexico.
